On the surface plate, an Insize height gauge does two jobs: datum-referenced inspection and scribing layout lines with its replaceable carbide-tipped scriber. The digital 1150 series reads to 0.01mm across 0-300mm, 0-500mm, 0-600mm, and 0-1000mm ranges, with ±0.03mm accuracy at 300mm. The 1156 series adds a driving wheel for smooth single-hand slider movement in production inspection, the 1155 series drops to 0.5 micron and even 0.1 micron resolution for metrology labs, and the 1251 vernier series runs battery-free up to 2000mm for large fabrications.
