Our 6-Step Repair Process
Initial Inspection
The pneumatic cylinder is visually inspected for external damage, leaks, rod scoring, and corrosion. The cylinder model, bore size, stroke length, and mounting style are documented.
Disassembly & Assessment
The cylinder is fully disassembled. Each component (barrel, piston, rod, seals, end caps, and cushion assemblies) is examined for wear, scoring, and dimensional accuracy.
Seal Replacement
All worn or damaged seals, O-rings, and gaskets are replaced with new ones matching the original specifications. We use high-quality polyurethane and nitrile seals rated for the cylinder's operating pressure.
Rod Re-chroming & Bore Honing
Scored or corroded piston rods are re-chromed to restore surface finish. The cylinder bore is honed to remove scratches and restore the required surface finish for proper seal contact.
Reassembly
All components are reassembled with new seals, proper lubrication, and correct torque specifications. Cushion adjustments are set according to the application requirements.
Pressure Testing & Quality Assurance
The reassembled cylinder undergoes full pressure testing at rated working pressure. Leak testing, stroke testing, and cushion function are verified before the cylinder is released.
