When a bearing is worn, rusted, or marked over and you need to source a replacement, the fastest way to find the correct bearing number is to measure three physical dimensions — bore (inner diameter), OD (outer diameter), and width — and match them against ISO 15 standard dimension tables. A bore of 25 mm with OD 52 mm and width 15 mm uniquely identifies a 6205 deep-groove ball bearing. The same 25 mm bore with OD 62 mm and width 17 mm is instead a 6305 (heavier duty). Bore 50 × OD 90 × width 23 is a 22210 spherical roller. Width alone is rarely enough — at least two dimensions are needed. If only bore is known, the tool returns all bearings with that bore diameter so you can narrow down by visual type (deep-groove ball, tapered roller, spherical, etc.). Lookup: (bore, OD, width) → bearing number (ISO 15 standard dimension series)There's no mathematical formula — bearing numbers are assigned to specific physical-size combinations. The 62xx series has one set of (OD, width) for each bore; the 63xx series (heavier) has larger OD and width for the same bore. This tool searches the standard ISO 15 table and returns any bearing within a small tolerance (±1 mm by default) of your measurements.

Worked Examples
Worn motor bearing replacement
Problem: A 5 HP motor bearing has failed. The number on the side is unreadable. Caliper measurements: bore 25 mm, OD 52 mm, width 15 mm.
Solution: Match: 6205 (deep-groove ball bearing, light series 62xx). Order a 6205-2RS from Shri Narayan Machinery Noida — the -2RS suffix gives you rubber seals for better dust protection than the -ZZ shielded variant.
Heavy-duty conveyor bearing
Problem: A conveyor idler has a bigger-than-usual bearing. Measurements: bore 50 mm, OD 90 mm, width 23 mm.
Solution: Match: 22210 (spherical roller bearing). This is a heavy-duty unit with self-aligning capability, typical for conveyors where shafts may deflect. Note the two rows of barrel-shaped rollers when you compare visually.
Same bore, two possible bearings
Problem: Bore 25 mm measured, but visually two different sizes of bearing in stock.
Solution: Search with just bore = 25 — tool returns 6205 (52 × 15), 6305 (62 × 17), and 30205 (52 × 16.25, tapered roller). Measure OD and width to narrow down. If OD = 52 and width = 15 → 6205. If OD = 62 and width = 17 → 6305.

Dimensions follow ISO 15. When multiple bearings have the same bore, differentiate by (OD, width) or by visual type (ball vs roller). Suffixes like -2RS, -ZZ, and -C3 don't change bore/OD/width.
